Ueno Market: a lot of people, a real mess and lunch in a ramen shop...

where by mistake we (I) ordered...ONIONS!!!Oh....our public relationships started to be a bit dangerous from that moment..!Oh, but we ate a lot of chewing gum!
Then...Ueno park...dove abbiamo assistito ad un sit in di BARBONI (veri) e ad un un tizio che faceva le acrobazie con le gambe per aria...!!

after Asakusa: Roppongi...as soon as Fra saw an international book shop there was no way to stop her..she started to grab dozens of books, but Veronica managed to convince her that 4 where sufficient..
We saw Vivienne Westwood exibition, another exibition of pictures that we did not enjoy because of an orrible sound and of an Italian guy che faceva il Provolone!!!!And...Tokyo City view..beautifull with all the lights of the city! And....da SCIURE abbiam fatto l'aperitivo là in cima, guardando tutto il mondo dall'alto... impressive...pensavo a quanto sia diverso vedere dall'alto la città di cui conosco le viscere così bene...

Here we are!!Our "ufficio pettegolezzi" is open once again!!!!!!!!!!
Today we went to Ginza and followed a freaky old woman with purple hair!!And lately we went to a Japanese "patisserie" and bought some sweets...well...hem...quite gummy and tasteless (except for the strawberry inside them!)..then I rewiewed my Milano-slang..actually we saw a lot of BAùSCIA and we acted like ZANZA...aaannnndddd we saw some....CULATTTTONI!!!!!HAHAHAHAH!!!!!!
Then we went to Hérmes but we went out because we were feeling a little bit..BARBONE!
Well, as you can see, we are having a funny time together!A part from this,we are visiting the city (Harajuku-Shibuya-Ebisu-Ginza-Daikaniama so far)...and she already met SuperCarlos!!

[Veronica says: "actually after a long downhill we went in the dungeons of a building were there was a restaurant..we had to leave our shoes and put on a pair sleepers (that we stole from the waiters by mistake,obviously!...well...I'm a bit disgusted!)then I had to seat on the ground and obviously the owner of the place wants to save money on the electricity bill...the room was a bit dark!!Then I had to eat some slimy things with chopsticks..well...when nobody was watching I used a spoon!! By the way, the place was very nice and very characteristic!! (come si dice: ero basita?!)I was surprised by Francesca's ability in using chopsticks to eat slimy eggs!When we went out I tried to put my shoes on where we were " not allowed to"...well I received some angry look.
We survived in crossing a really huge street full of people in Shibuya..then ..back home!well I guess it's better if you don't see Francesca's "appartment!" ]

owwww....I'm really happy, yesterday I went to Ueno park...even if I was quite thoughtful it was nice to have a walk in a sunny morning, waiting for my train to Narita. (in which later i went into a guy from sophia, what a coincidence!)
at the airport I saw Veronica and I started to jump like a kangaroo!!!!SOOOOOOO Happy about her arrival!
Today we started to explore the city toghether, laughing all the time about everything..........

un Natale sicuramente fuori dal comune...ma pur sempre emozionante!
Cenone del 24 a casa di.... (indovina indovinello!) Roope & Alì! E..mentre gli altri giocavano a carte, Roope ed io abbiamo cucinato...io della pasta, ovviamente, e lui un'insalata con mele, formaggio e pomodori gialli...buonissima (hah uno spasso per me cucinare la pasta..slalom tra un appartamento e l'altro...per problemi di fornelli e pentole!!!!)e...abbiam ovviamente mangiato tutto con le bacchette..ormai nessuno di noi è più abituato a coltello e forchetta!
mmmm dopo una certa ora abbiam deciso di andare a ballare e Carlos ci ha raggiunti!E' stato divertente, considerando che, eccetto per Ann che è a Singapore, ero in discoteca con le persone a cui mi sono più affezionata...! sono tanto felice! E poi abbiamo dormito tutti insieme a casa di Ali! Che teneri!!E la mattina i raggi del sole ci hanno svegliati, così ci siam mangiati dei cioccolatini a letto(cioè nel futon!)...e poi abbiam preparato il branch...che bello, sembravamo davvero una grande famiglia!Verso tardo pomeriggio ci siamo concessi un bagnetto al public bath (on the way ho visto uno schnauzerino nano pepe e sale e è corso da me per farmi festa!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!che tenero!!!!!!!!!!)e poi sono tornata a casa con Reiner e ci siam visti Harry Potter e il prigioniero do Azkaban e pappati pizza hut con Sundus, che invece è stata con sua mamma e sua sorella in questi ultimi giorni!
Questo è stato il mio Natale,posso dire che che mi è piaciuto moltissimo! Appena riesco inserisco anche le foto..vi mando un bacione grande grande!

ieri il mio socio Reiner ed io abbiamo esplorato Takadanobaba e Nakano e dintorni..mah non molto interessante, però siam andati a Koenji a piedi..ma chi abita a koenji?! I miei fratellini Ali e Roope ovviamente,che hanno ricevuto un warning dalla padrona di casa perché organizzano sempre feste!
Ieri, infatti, abbiam dovuto sloggiare presto per non disturbare troppo...perché le case giapponesi sono tutte di legno e quindi si sentono sempre i passi di chi abita al piano superiore o...si può sempre indovinare cosa i vicini stanno facendo (povero Roope, non dorme la notte per questo..)
Nota: la cassetta della posta della fotografia è il riferimento per raggiungere la casa dei miei due fratellini adottivi!hahahah
Anyway, Ali Roope e Martin sono rimasti a Koenji ad aspettare un ragazzo finlandese che è era andato a sciare ma si è perso fra i tentacoli della metropolitana e dei treni di Tokyo..GOSH! Erano un po' preoccupati perché il poverino in questione non è in possesso di un cellulare, dato che vive in Korea ed è solo qui per le feste..Reiner e io avremmo dovuto andare a ballare con degli americani, ma li abbiamo persi per strada..volutamente, dato che stavano fumando qualcosa di sospetto e la cosa ci ha dato molto molto molto fastidio! Così siamo andati a Roppongi e il abbiam parlato un pochino con il buttafuori di una discoteca..uno studente dell'Orientale di Napoli, la stessa università di Bruno e Paola!..e poi mentre cercavamo un club dove andare..abbiamo incontrato SUPERCARLOS, Alberto e Vanessa (hahah sembrano nomi italiani!Alb è di Barcellona e Vane è Cilena..)così siamo andati a ballare al Vanilla!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!E' una discoteca bellissima, su più piani e la musica è molto bella!Abbiam ballato tutta la sera..ma la cosa divertente è che ad un certo punto sento qualcuno che mi fa pat pat sulla spalla...e chi è?! DAVID, il nostro vicino di casa Australiano! E' incredibile quanto il mondo sia piccolo! Che ridere! Ci siam divertiti un sacco, è stata davvero una delle migliori serate qui a Tokyo...solo che al ritorno avevo così sonno che mi sono addormentata in taxi e in metropolitana! hahah e quei fetentoni di Carlos e Reiner mi prendevano in giro...!!! come sempre ;-)

PS: stasera cena di Natale a Koenji..cucinerò qualcosa di Italiano..trascorreremo la sera della vigilia tra pochi amici, insieme, come in famiglia ... poi tra solo 3 giorni arriva Veronica!

periodo di Natale..xmas shopping..ultimi giorni di scuola..ho trascorso due giornate bellissime e credo che lo spirito del Natale si stia finalmente facendo sentire..
dunque..martedi è stato un giorno incredibilmente "incasinato", calcolando che nelle pause tra una lezione e l'altra sono stata a a fare acquisti di Natale con Roope e poi con Ann..a comprare i rispettivi regali..è stato veramente divertente, soprattutto quando sono entrata in classe alle 5.05 (la lezione iniziava alle 5!) e il prof, facendo l'appello, stava proprio chiamando il mio nome..questo si che è tempismo! (ah, postilla: sono 3 e qualcosa giorni che non parlo italiano quindi se vedete errori ecc non scandalizzatevi troppo!)
Mi sono ipodizzata (ho comprato un I-pod!) così adesso durante la rush hour in treno sono sempre di ottimo umore e sorrido a tutti!Non so perchè qua la gente si stupisce tanto quando cedo il posto a sedere a una vecchietta, a un bimbo o a qualcuno carico di sacchi della spesa. bene..la mia giornata,mercoledì, è iniziata proprio con "life is a flower" degli ace of base in treno..così tutto è iniziato bene..!Alle 6 di mattina ho sentito Sundus e Reiner in corridoio che dicevano qualcosa tipo "buonanotte"...erano appena rientrati da un party di compleanno! Così beh..mi sono avviata a scuola cantando in silenzio..la lezione di giapponese è stata un po' una fuffa: abbiamo parlato tutte le due ore di un sacco di cose interessanti. Lo sapevate che il colore verde si chiama "green" (grinu!) preso dall'inglese perché verde e blu qui erano associati.. e si chiamavano "Blu"..e quindi qui c'è ancora gente che dice che il semaforo è blu! Ma la sensee, ad un certo punto, ha detto che ci avrebbe insegnato qualche "bad word" se avessimo smesso di chiederle tutte quester cose. Dice che noi occidentali siamo così diversi..quando facciamo le domande! Gli studenti giapponesi infatti sono sempre timidi ma noi sembriamo quasi fieri di non sapere le cose e di porre domande. (queste sono le sue parole..non arrabbiatevi con me!)
beh, dopo la lezione fuffa..Roope ed io siam stati ad Harajuku a cercare un regalo per Marjut (le ha preso delle cose troppo carine da bodyshop!) e poi finalmente ho preso il treno..e sono andata da sola nel mio quartiere perferito: Daikanyama. Wow, quanto è carino!SOno entrata in un sacco di negozi, (ho dimenticato la mia borsa da Marité françois girbaud!ma son tornata indietro scusandomi e dicendo alla commessa che sono un po' nelle nuvole..e lei rideva!)mi sono goduta un po' di solitudine, qualche volta non fa male. Pensavo che Daikaniama è il quartiere di Tokyo che più assomiglia ad una città europea, ma ha un tocco..wow, davvero speciale!Ci sono tanti negozi di design e arredamento..e una cheese cake factory (no, non ho ordinato niente..avevo solo voglia di esplorare!e di scattare fotografie..in tutta la giornata ne ho fatte 250!)..beh, poi mi sono diretta a Ebisu, dove avevo appuntamento con Christina, Ann e Roope per visitare una galleria d'arte. E' stato un po' poco semplice trovare il posto perchè era molto piccolo..si trattava di una CASA PER ARTISTI, uno spazio dove gli artisti emergenti possono esprimere le proprie idee. Tutto è sponsorizzato da questa famiglia ebrea giapponese..di cui abbiamo conosciuto un esponente: un signore con degli occhiali stranissimi, un cappellino di pelle con un'ombra un po' ingombrante: il suo cane Bacon..il cane più grosso che io abbia mai visto!
Dopo questa visita culturale ci siam fermati a far merenda..torta al cioccolato, cheese cake alle ciliegie e una bevanda calda.
Christina ci ha lasciati e noi siam andati a Koenji a cena con Ali. Che carini, ci siam scambiati i regali di Natale e tanti abbracci! E ci siamo promessi di vederci quando torniamo ai nostri Paesi. Sì perchè l'amicizia non ha confini ed io ero così commossa che ho pianto! Ann e io ci siam fermate a dormire nell'appartamento di Roope e lui ha dormito con Ali! SOno stati tenerissimi!! Abbiamo anche scoperto che esistono dei dolcini alla fragola che sia chiamano fran..e siccome io mi vesto sempre di rosso e ho un profumo che sa di fragola..abbiam deciso che sono i miei dolcini!!!!
La mattina Ann è andata via prima perché se no avrebbe perso il volo per singapore, mentre io ho studiato kanji per 10 minuti e sono andata a svegliare i ragazzi..hahaha abbiamo fatto una colazione "speciale" (qui lo è!) con pane caldo e marmellata "bonne maman"..che buona! Però siamo arrivati in ritardo a scuola e .. che fortuna! Alla stazione c'erano i foglietti per giustificare un qualche treno in ritardo e così la prof non ha potuto dirci niente! (e ho fatto il test di kanji, credo sia andato bene!)beh, dopo lezione son stata con Reiner ad Ikebukuro sperando di trovare un tacchino per Natale ma abbiam girato in lungo ed in largo ed è stato impossibile!Va beh..ritenteremo domani..e poi abbiam trovato una Créperie Bretonne!! Si, non abbiam resistito..e ci siam mangiati una crépe!mmmm che bontà!E il quel momento la mamma e il papà mi han chiamata per farmi gli auguri di buon onomastico (sì, festeggio S. Francesca Cabrini, il 22 dicembre) e mi ha fatto tanto tanto piacere, poi ho parlato al tel con il mio Maras!!!Patatino, scodinzolava perchè sentiva la mia voce! Reiner avrà pensato che sono pazza..ma penso che ormai ci sia abituato!
mmmmmm poi....wow che bello, abbiam camminato un sacco e abbiam comprato dei CD di modern jazz da Cibone, un negozio di design troppo bello!e..visto che Sundus era a casa da sola, chiusa in camera perché giù di morale, le abbiam portato una cheese cake e abbiam visto un film tutti insieme: "l'auberge espagnole". Bello. Vederlo adesso che siamo in scambio internazionale fa veramente effetto. Credo che presto guarderemo anche "lost in translation". tante volte non si capisce bene una cosa finché non la si vive. Può essere un film, un libro, ma anche una sensazione, un sentimento. E' incredibile la vita! Come ho scritto, mi sento un uccellino. Qui imparo tante cose, al di là della scuola, che dà molto da fare in termini quantitativi, ma non qualitativi, sto imparando tantissime altre cose che nella vita sono sicuramente molto più utili e arricchiscono di più lo spirito. Imparare a comunicare, a donare, a capire, ad essere flessibili, a stare con gli altri..sono le cose più importanti qui. Anche a scuola, al di là del contenuto è imteressante imparare un nuovo metodo. Anche...imparare giapponese..apre la mente. Tutta questa esperienza mi sta davvero aprendo gli occhi...su certe realtà, diversità, su sensazioni e situazioni.
Beh, ma dove ero rimasta...sì..dopo il film eravamo così stanchi e bisognosi di affetto che ci siamo addormentati nel letto di Sundus! L'atmosfera era così...cosy!che bello...era un po' come essere in famiglia! Mi chiedo se quando ci diremo addio manterremo tutte le promesse che ci siamo fatti "sì, verrò a trovarti a Milano" e viceversa. Lo spero tanto.

Ah..I feel so relaxed now!
Appointment with Ann on the train platform at 17.19 but I obviously misundersood and waited for her somewhere else..I did not have credit on my cell phone, and forgot to tell her that Elisa was coming, too...awesome because they didn't know each other..they met before I came (dunno how, Elisa understood where we were supposed to meet...and I'm the one who told her...but well..) ...one of my usual messes!!!OK GOOD START....but we managed to go...and the place was simply...BEAUTYFULL!!!! (except at the entrance. Usually you go to onsen naked..but in these one there is a zone in which it is possible to wear a swim suit and stay all together-i mean men and women-well I knew it, so I brought my bikini, but apparently there was a misunderstanding cause the girl at the entrance wanted me to wear a ..mpf...!!....a suimsuit..really 1930-style...for man...or like a diving suit...ORRIBLE!but then i finally could put my bikini on! ...strange because they did it only with me..!!Maybe they know I put on some weight!)
By the way...it was absolutely beautifull....wowowowow...sauna, steam sauna, hot spring water, hot salty spring water...wow...and..the best thing ever: some hot spring pools outdoor...very hot superhot water and very cold out..a cool breeze, a waterfall behind us, trees,rocks...we could have stayed there forever!I was feeling really good, my all body was really restored and regenerated...my mind had the same feeling,my thoughts were floating and nothing had too much relevance.....ok...i go to bed now...because my dreams are now popping in my mind and I need a good sleep. Tomorrow I'll have a long day..classes till 8 and Xmas shopping! Would you like to receive something in particular?

PPS: Hot springs in Japan are really supercool. You have everything you need to relax and feel good...and not to think you live in a big tentacular city, always in packed trains and in crowded squares full of lights and shops..it was really like "unplugging" our minds for some hours, not thinking about homework, essays or presentations..just spendig some times for ourselves.

Sunday afternoon..home, woken up by a bible seller...jeee...even here!!!!
I had an intense week...wednesday I went to the hospital with LA (funny because we were studying chapter 9 on our japanese textbook..situational conversation at the hospital!..haha) anyway..quite impressive. It was so cleaned, efficient, quick..with a lovely ('?!) irish nun translating everything for the gaijins...amazing, considering that if you go to an hospital in Italy..you have to take an appointment (not phoning, it's to easy...you have to go there, spend 3 hours in an office, take the appointment) and usually you see a doctor after 3 month, when you don't need anything!And if you are a foregneir there are no irish nuns...!!
Anyway..we met a french lady with her children..and she asked me if I can look after them sometimes..mmm babysitting to 3 hyperactive babies..in french!CHALLENGING! And she was so nice, she told us we can have tea together sometimes and she will make cakes! Really lovely! I also meet K, a british friend of LA married to a Japanese guy..and...her NINA chan, a really supernice 3 years old girl! We had lunch together in Takadanobaba (hahah I love the name of this station...it's too funny!) in a really nice european style bar, nice, I miss places like that here!Nice, I really enjoyed it!!!

Friday, after Nihongo no tesuto (japanese test!) LA and Roope came with me to Hakihabara, where I bought...uuuuuuuuuuuuuuuhhhhhhhh Ipod Nano!!! (actually, it is something really.."metropolitan"..here in Tokyo it is perfect, above all in the rush hour in the train!or when you walk alone in the street..)...Oh-....than Hannibal's class ("I wish americans could speak english"...and a lot of comments on Japan...I'm sure he hates Japan. But at least he gives really good motivations..he has written a lot of books, he's real name is Declan Hayes, not Hannibal-if u are interested!!!!) and after it (hahahah this sentence is a bit messy, but today I'm not able to speak any language...sorry...!!) I went to sophia xmas party
...it was really good..!!!There was also SANTA!!!!!yes!I think he could have been the real one !!!!!!!!!!!
Afterwords...Izakaya in Yotsuya where Ali started to open another spiderweb of problems...talking about Carl Marx's theories and...Ben, Carlos, Ari, Paola and me were "a bit skeptical"..poor Ali, I even scared him!!!!hahahah during this debate Roope and Ann simply went on drinking...good choice!

Last night SuperCarlos, New-chapterReiner and I went to "before the six trees"..ROPPONGI, Velfarre club!!!!

There we met Ryota, Amy and what's-her-name..!(well, I seem quite rude, but she actually disappeared for the all evening and show up when we were leaving the club!)Mah!
Then, for everyone sake, I don't talk about the rest of the evening..!!!





And...well I would like to say that here I feel really EUROPEAN..not particulary Italian...EUROPEAN!!! and I really think that europe is the best place to live...
Si, amici italiani, non mi sono mai sentita così europea!!! Anche la gente che frequento qui..è europea..non m'ero mai resa conto di quanto fosse bello vivere nel vecchio continente e quante risorse abbiamo in termini di cultura, lingue (è vero che ne parliamo tante diverse, ma è proprio qui il bello!), sistema scolastico.., storia, knowledge, ... Abbiamo sempre una "protezione" perchè possiamo anche parlare lingue diverse dall'inglese (anche fra di noi...)...e abbiamo un fascino che tutto il resto del mondo non ha. Viva l'Europa!

oh..intense day.
Tonight I finished class at 8..went home..and stopped at the minimarket...I was the last customer, but this time I really needed a lot of stuff (actually last night I could not fall asleep cuz I had forgotten the grocery shopping and I was starving, even though I had "merenda" with Papà and Yasuaru...*)so...I starded with a Daikon...haha then I saw sweet potatos (the 2 long, purple ones in the pict..)cuz I remembered how good they are..(MMM I wonder if I they are good even if the chef is me..!) then I tooke some random stuff that looks like vegetables mixed with some really small skinny fish...mah...i'm quite skeptical now that I'm looking at it carefully in the attempt to describe it...bah...the color is greenish..whitish..ok..then Tofu..and it's ok: if mixed with something else it is very interesting (OMOSHIROI!)...oh then I wanted to buy Yoghurt but I was in a hurry so I could not check what I was buying..and in fact I picked up some yellowish jelly-something..I'm quite suspicious at the moment..oh I forgot to take the picture of some strange dehydratated cachi fruits...that taste almost nothing but they give you a good feeling (aha that's what Carols decided to say...very diplomatic..!)...than as you can see I have bought other random stuff...
Moreover, I have discovered that after 8, when the shop is closing, many goods are discounted..something like 80% or more..so tonight..I had dinner for 150 Yen !!Not bad, not bad!

*oh, well, I just wanted to say that yesterday I lost 10 years of my life when Yasu was driving...and did inversion in a really crowded street and..parked his car in front of the North gate of the university..in the middle of the street in Yotsuya..and...oh...then he told something like: "watashi wa... Napolitan driver desu!!" ahha!

Ps...I think Reiner spied my shopping cuz he gave me some belgian sweets..!

Today I was thinking that even here I have my sort of routine and I often meet the same people...like "TALPAMAN" (hah....dovreste vederlo!)between Ichigaya and Yotsuya campuses he is a jedy knight, hahaha but his glasses are like the bottom of a glass bottle...than..."IL CONTADINO" è un sciur picciolino picciolino che vende la roba del suo orto..a qualche strada di distanza da casa mia!!children in the morning..yes, they now look at me like "hey, another F--- morning at school..good luck!"
Oh lately j'ai beaucoup des deja-vu, je ne sais pas pourquoi...MAH! I live situation I have already seen. Donno when, donno where.
And the weirdest things happen to me when I ride trains...well, yesterday I jumped on my car number 9 (it's close to the exit so i don't have to walk to much when i get off!) glad that the train was plenty of seats, but...haha!! The train man-how is he called-put crossed his arms so i undersood there was something wrong..everybody got off..and the train departed, empty..mah..we waited for a wile than another empty train arrived. Mah!
A month ago a woman offered me a job and asked me if i was a model and if I wanted to work for her agency, two days ago an american started to talk and he gave me his business card telling me he is a head hunter for a financing company (MAH, per me era solo un po' un furbacchione, ma ha detto di avere tre bimbe e una moglie..devo crederci??mmm!!Ucci ucci sento odor di.... BRUCIATO!)beh, we discovered we live in the same neighbourhood...
A morning I met a couple from..BARI!! I saw them and I asked "Italiani?" they said.."Sì!!"a bit scared..in effetti sono un po' buffa, soprattutto la mattina!

oh, poi..haha!!!! parliamo un p' di scuola..mmmmmmm come sapete e...as Misses Bland perfectly Knows, I hate presentations!! And here..haahha mi sono perfino offerta! Noooooooooooooo adesso sono il disonore del mio trio-gnorri...hahah Ringhio e Veronica, non scandalizzatevi!!! Dai, non sarò in classe con voi il prox semestre, quindi non sfigurerete!ahahah!!! RInghiozzi con la sua "gnorraggine" mi manca un casino, soprattutto quando i prof lo chiamano e lui fa finta di non sentire!!! HAHA!!
beh, sono perfino attiva nei lavori di gruppo e -haiaiahi!!-cominciano a piacermi!Noooooooooooooooo vi deludo così..:!!!! Mah forse sarà la forza dell'abitudine! Oh, my mother is too sweet...today we spent 10 minutes on the phone just chatting about clothes! I love my mom, she reads my blog and she put awesome comments, she is beautifull and she is a kind of friend..
I love her, really! She is the mother everyone would like to have. Sometimes when I am at home we argue, but now that i'm far from her I miss her COCCOLE and...and ahahah!!! When we go out together and guys ask us to go out with them and they don't understand we are mother and daughter!!hahah!!!And now I'm wondering if Maraschino, when I come back, remembers me..and if he still "prefers" me!owwWWW.,...I miss his sweet little bites on my big nose!

Domenica è stato Sundus' Birthday
so We (Sundus, Reiner and I) celebrated at the sushi place in Heiwadai...
e sono stata colpita da una stupidera immane....hahahahahah e lui ha pensato bene di farmi un filmato che metterà sul suo blog mentre cerco di pronunciare delle frasi in Flamish!!!Eccolo qui con la faccia da secchione:

I had a very very sweet "good night" with Belgian cookies!!! Oh, thank you!!! Che bella famiglia. After hannibal's class Ali, Christina, Reiner, Roope and I went to Ueno ...wow....un saltimbanco pazzo fuori di testa nel parco. Tende blu abitate dai barboni...coda memorabile davanti al museo. Quadri molto belli, ma ... la calca era così tremenda che è stato impossibile vedere tutto come si deve...peccato! Però ho comprato il catalogo perchè la pittura giapponese è cosi diversa e interessante...!!!
