wake up after 3 hours of sleep, go to the airport..and then Elisa went to Kiushu and I went to Okinawa.
Okinawa is really different from the main land. Even people is very different. The first guy I met waS a taxidriver. He asked me a lot of things. He, like everybody there, thought I was american..but anyway he said he was going to make a
reversaL in a crossroad!!!! Gosh! Then when I was kind of lost, at a certain point, everyone offered help and tried to say some words in english!During the stay I experienced many different feelings.
Visiting the Japanese navy Underground Headquarters bunker (in 1944) I could breath the tragedy of the war. I was there, alone, in small underground gloomy tunnels were people died..committing suicide. I wanted to cry, to run away, but I was blocked there, feeling trapped by walls that smelled tragedy.

That night I was too tired to have nightmeares, but I woke up well motiovated and tooke a bus to Nago. There, I asked where I could rend a bike but everyone laughed at me, so I went to see some beaches and the acquarium, but even there I felt sorry for those animals trapped there, in small filthy pools. Beautifull animals, but obviously bored and too used to the flashes and the glances of people. My need to feel free was really urgent. Finally I found my peace, thanks to the best guest house ever, to the sea and to cheerfull people...

By coincidence, I was so tired that I toke a taxi and asked the driver to bring me in the cheapest place of my list of hostels. It was really difficoult to find it because it was so small, located on a cliff...with a private beach...palm trees...
As soon as I got of the car, a dog came to say hello. I felt at home.
The owner and her assistant showed me the house. SoOOoOOooOOoOOooooO beautifull. All wooden, with a kitchen that everybody could use, Ofuro-s, bunk beds...(I decided to sleep in the upper one...and that was my "room" for a couple of days)...a Verandah on the sea...a room upstairs where to go during the night to read, write or drink..or just look at the sea...a piano..guitars...bongos...and lovely people with whom I went out to eat...drink and for whom I coocked...

I had time to stay with this lovely people, but I had time for myself as well. Time to take a bike and hang around, time to sit on the beach and read or write or to pick up shells and corals. I had
time to stay on my own and think. I was trying to have a picture of my life, of my desires, my dreams. I had many ideas for dishes, for drinks..I was drowing an image of the house of my dreams. Well. kinda like that one, on the cliffs, right on the sea!I thought how I should decorate it...and i let my fantasy do the rest. Looking at the sea,
I just listened to its sound. So delicate and so powerfull...it just depends on what it meets. Sweet on the sand, impetous against the rocks...I even had lunch with some old people at their place.
They showed me some old okinawan dance...and cooked some delicious stuff (no wonder I'm gatting fat!)..And I was offered a ride by two girls from Hiroshima I met at the fairy house. One of them could speak a bit of english, so things were easier. Anyway, Maccho drove like the taxi driver I mentioned before..till Naha...we went to the market
and we chose a fish...brought it to a restaurant were they coocked it...and we had so much fun. I can tell, Risa and Maccho are the two coolest japanese girls I have ever met.
Finally I went at the airport and I bought a ticket for a plane that was leaving in 15 minutes....I started to yell "chotto matte, chotto matte!!!"and eventually got on the plane..and now I am back to Tokyo...so happy, with my mind cleared, a lot of dreams that have been created by my ingenous mind...
On the plane I was thinking "wow, I am flying"...
